We are recruiting strong passion Staff Nurse – RGN/RMN for a Care home is located in Doncaster. The purpose-built home provides specialised nursing and social care for frail and older people. The home has up to 40 residents and has two units. First unit is home to 20 residents requiring residential, respite and social care. Second unit is home to 20 residents requiring nursing, specialist nursing, respite and palliative care.

As a general nurse we are expecting from you to prescribe, deliver and supervise the execution of excellent standards of care in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be offered full time position and will receive a competitive salary of £14.35 per hour plus other excellent benefits.

We are expecting from you to be able to:

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation

·         Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively

·         Promote a cohesive team approach and a welcoming atmosphere to ensure staff members feel a connection to our residents and the home, and they are well supported to deliver high quality care

·         Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs.

Skills:

·         Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload

·         Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships

·         The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements

·         Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector

·         People Management experience
